We’re hosting a community event, in the Upper Hall at Crown Church, to help shape the future of the Hill District, and we’d love for you to join us. It’s an informal drop-in event—pop by for a chat, a cuppa, and a biscuit! ☕🍪 Your ideas can shape real change in our community.

The AGM will begin at 7:30pm, but please come along any time from 7pm for a cuppa.

Upstairs at SHIMCA - a chance to meet and chat to other volunteers. Family is also welcome to join for a cuppa, some of Monica’s delicious soup and a few home bakes. Would be great to see you there!

Join us for food, traditional Scottish dancing, crafts and games for the kids and a chance to welcome some of the Ukrainian refugees that have come to the Highlands.  You can BYOB and dress code is casual, think going to the pub with your friends! Get ready to eat, dance, laugh and have fun!

Our Jumble Trail is BACK! After the success of our first ever Jumble Trail last year, we’d like to invite you to be a stall holder again this June!

Are you needing to have a good clear out at home? Do you have items that are too good to throw away and that could be passed on to others and put to good use? Do you live on one of the streets on the map?

Crown Connects SCIO in collaboration with the Highland Community Waste Partnership are hosting a second Jumble Trail event in the Crown Hill District. Households in the Crown Hill District are invited to be outdoor stall holders for the Jumble Trail event.

The whole idea of the Jumble Trail is to encourage sharing, reduce what the community is needing to spend to get new items, promote a more circular economy and a passion for pre-loved items.

Fruit tree pruning demonstration event at Des Kelly's orchard in Torbreck. Find out how to successfully look after your apple/plum tree.

Des Kelly, who provided all the expert advice for our community orchard project, will give a demo and tailored advice about fruit tree pruning at his orchard on the south side of Inverness. Exact details of location on booking. The event will last about one hour - tea and coffee provided!
